Nature, the endless positive energy of creative businesses, the objective of making this world a better place for all and the distinct eye for beauty is what I love about shooting this kind of projects.

I received so many sweet messages and.. questions on my last post!

I felt very loved and grateful, so thank you for the sweet conversations I had with you guys over the weekend.

I know a lot of you are here also to see the “Italy side” of things. So I just wanted to make clear that I will always be sharing things Sicily, as it’s the place where I live half of the year, but this will be more incorporated into my stories then into my posts from now on.

Het voelde als een identiteitscrisis…

Toen ik drie weken geleden dertig werd kreeg ik de neiging om iedereen en alles even extra te knuffelen en te bedanken. Vooral mijn camera. Mijn camera die me alle hoeken van de wereld heeft laten zien, die ervoor heeft gezorgd dat dat wat ik het allerleukste vind om te doen mijn werk werd en er vooral ook voor heeft gezorgd dat ik zoveel lieve mensen heb mogen ontmoeten met wie ik nog steeds samenwerk.
Freelance videograaf, dat antwoorde ik wanneer mensen vroegen wat ik zoal deed in het leven.

Tot nu.

Want wat blijkt, ik ben verslaafd geraakt aan oude huizen. Oude huizen in Italië.
Niks staat zo ver af van mijn filmdagen als het neerhalen van tussenmuurtjes en slopen van retro badkamers en toch vind ik het geweldig.

Steeds meer bekroop mij het gevoel dat ik mijn geliefde Instagram een beetje moest gaan afstoffen. Film is en blijft voor altijd mijn grote liefde, maar mijn romance met het verbouwen van Italiaanse villas (die vaak ook best wel heel veel liefde nodig hebben) krijgt nu officieel een apart platform ✨

Dit account zal zoals voorheen daarom weer helemaal in het teken staan van videografie, waarmee ik zoveel creatieve en dappere ondernemers zo graag help.

Maar niet getreurd, volg je me vooral vanwege jouw vurige Italiaanse droom? Vanaf nu kun je alles omtrent huizen, verbouwingen, ondernemen en dromen waarmaken in Italië volgen op mijn Tiktok via de link in mijn bio!

Posting this from Venice while I’m waiting for my flight back to Palermo for the holidays.
I sometimes find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that Sicily not only gave me a second home, but showed me once more the true meaning of family and that in the end that’s all you need. I’m so fortunate to be surrounded by so many people who bring so much love into my life in the place I was born as well as in the place that feels more and more like home.
